Musical Advent Calendar

29 November 2020

We were heartbroken to have to cancel our Festival back in May. However, rather than simply writing off 2020, we were determined to do something positive and creative this year for you, our wonderful audience and supporters, and so we are super excited to tell you about our Musical Advent Calendar.

Every day from 1 to 25 December we will be releasing a new video featuring Dunster Festival artists performing some of our favourite Christmas pieces, from well-known carols to excerpts from Britten’s Ceremony of Carols and medieval chant.

We filmed all twenty-five videos earlier this week following the Government’s latest COVID-safe working and performing guidance.

We really hope these films will provide an uplifting two minutes to your day for the next few weeks; they will be popping up on the Christmas page of our website, as well as on our YouTube channel, facebook, twitter and instragram.
